Our Story
Born from clinical experience, refined through motherhood
As a board-certified allergist treating children with food allergies every day, Dr. Brynn Everist saw firsthand the anxiety and challenges families faced. The science was clear: early allergen introduction could make a dramatic difference. But the reality? Parents struggled with complicated protocols, inconsistent exposure, and overwhelming stress.
When Dr. Everist became a mother herself, the gap became even more apparent. Despite knowing the research and having medical training, implementing early introduction was still time-consuming, messy, and hard to maintain consistently.
There had to be a better way—a solution that honored both the science and the realities of modern parenting.

Dr. Everist completed her pediatric residency at Mayo Clinic and her fellowship in Allergy & Immunology at the University of Kansas. In 2023, Dr. Everist founded Prairie Allergy, a pioneering practice in Kansas City specializing in sublingual immunotherapy for food allergies.
Her unique combination of clinical expertise and lived experience as a mother inspired Amuse—a product that brings medical-grade allergen introduction into the daily routines of families everywhere.
